Sore Throat Bloody Phlegm?

My sore throat was VERY uncomfortable the last few days, and my phlegm had a few bright red spots, or my phlegm would be completely bright red. Now my sore throat is way nicer, and doesn't hurt as much, but now my phlegm is completely dark red in blood. It's not more than teaspoon of phlegm. What's wrong?
