Would a 50 pound drawback on a English style longbow kill a deer?

Yes it will. On a broadside shot with a sharp two blade cut on impact broad head it will achieve complete on a deer. Death will come within 6-9 seconds and if the woods are not too thick you can see the deer pile up while running. It's a great sight.
