The French revolution during the periods 1789 through the Reign of Terror in 1794 was attempted to create a new government based on the enlightment ideas. French citizens were tired of economic problems and weak indecisive leadership, as a result this lead to a desire for change. Economy sounded to be good in those days since both production and trade were rapidly growing, however heavy taxes imposed on common citizens made it almost impossible for citizens to conduct profits. Besides another major problem French had was the extravagant expending and indecisive Louis XVI who led matters to drift. The desire for change came from the inspiration by the success of Americans Revolution, the reason for revolution was the weak and indecisive leaders that just brought more economic problems.
