Can someone tell me the basics of Capital Markets?

I have a job interview next week for a position in the capital markets section of a bank. However, I don't know very much about the area. My degree was in Maths, so they are probably interested in me for my numerical ability, however I didn't really see the practical applications of the Maths to the finance world. Could anybody give me a rundown on what I need to know, or at least post some good links to where I can find out more?
