I am 18 years old, and I just bought my first vibrator. How do I put the batteries in? They keep falling out

The package said the vibrator needs three size AAA batteries. There's a little compartment on the back where I out them in. I try to turn it on, but it won't turn on. The batteries aren't secure enough for it to work. They keep falling out and bouncing around.
