Google chrome - the squiggly red underline - can I get rid of it ?

I recently installed Google Chrome onto my laptop ( formerly used Internet Explorer ). I get a squiggly red underline under certain words, I presume it's some kind of grammar check , is it possible to switch off this feature ? Thanks.
